History
Spill the Tea started life on Image 34 magazine, an independent online lifestyle magazine. The magazine was set up 8 years ago by Michael Sweeney. The magazine prided itself in working with the artists it promoted.
Some of the magazines features include RuPauls Drag Race contestants Miz Cracker (Season 10) and Naomi Smalls (Season 8 and All Stars Season 4), Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst, UK X-Factors Winners Sam Bailey and Alexandra Burke, London's West End "Miss Saigon" The Musical Lead actress Carolyn Maitland and the wonderful costume designer to the stars Wendy Benstead. Who has designed costumes for Lady GaGa, Paloma Faith and Jessie J just to name a few.
After the success of its drag issue, where Miz Cracker from RuPaul’s Drag Race graced our cover, Spill the Tea was born. Spill the Tea was for all the drag and LGBTQ+ content. The magazine grew from strength to strength and now stands alone, gay and proud! Just like its older sister Spill the Tea prides itself in only promoting and working with the artists it believes in. We only feature and share artists we feel deserve a place. We would never feature anyone simply for likes or views.
