Drag Con UK - Day One

Drag Con UK kicked off today for a three day extravaganza which is the conventions biggest yet! RuPaul was there to cut the ribbon this morning and open the convention. As he did, Ru was surrounded by Michelle Visage and a entourage of Queens and said: “It’s so lovely to be back in England! We love you all so much and to be here for DragCon one more time is such an honour. Michelle Visage is here, the Queens are here, and we are going to have a good time. I want to christen this DragCon by saying this: Everybody say love! Now let’s get this DragCon started!”.

This was followed by the infamous Queen’s Walk section which saw over 100 queens from across the RuPaul’s Drag Race Franchise strut down the pink carpet which goes right down the middle of the convention.

During the day we managed to catch a Spill the Tea favourite Vanity Milan, recent Drag UK Winner Danny Beard, Blu Hydrangea, Victoria Scone, Crystal, Keta Minaj, My Lil Puny, Le Fil, Lady Camden and Prince! All interviews will be released in due course so watch out for those.
