Exit interview with Le Fil
How would you describe your experience in the competition?
I had an amazing time on the show. It pushed me into areas I didn't know existed and I had so much fun. I learnt so much and just really enjoyed hanging around all my sisters and learn about all their different tips and tricks.
I'm a student of life so it was great to be on a on a show that allowed me to showcase my style, and my art. I like to describe myself as a ‘pop sculpture’ so I loved being shaped by this experience.
Any particular highlights?
My favourite moment was the girl band challenge. I love making music and I love writing and performing so it was really fun to be part of that experience with everyone. That challenge really pushed me, and so when our group won the challenge it felt extra special. Getting a RuPeter badge was a very memorable moment.
What’s next for Le Fil?
I can’t wait to propel myself into the stratosphere! I want to make more music, get into acting, do more shows and juts just really get stuck into pop cultural art. I can’t want to spread my ‘LeFilospohy’ to my ‘Le Fans’!
Any advice for drag queens watching the series?
To all those drag Queens, drag kings, drag stars and drag beings of the world, I say just get stuck into it and make your art your life and sculpt it in a way that you want to see it.
Make things happen and just get stuck in because everything only happens when you make an active decision to put yourself out into the world so get out there and live your best life!
Drag Race UK Series 4 will airs weekly on BBC iPlayer and worldwide on WowPresents Plus.
