Winners Interview with Loreen
Less than an hour after Loreen was crowned the winner of this years Eurovision Song Contest, making history as the second person and first woman to ever win the competition twice, we heard from the singer as she joined the Winners Press Conference.
How does it feel when you hear that you have made history tonight?
Right now everything feels surreal. I can't really, I'm seriously overwhelmed. So you have to ask me that question tomorrow darling! [Loreen pauses] This is so beautiful. One feeling that I have in my body is gratitude I feel so thankful to all of you guys.
Can you sum up this Eurovision experience compared to 2012?
Well, you know, 2012, everything was new. For me like I was a very naive girl. I didn't know what to expect, you know? But this time, you've heard this a million times, but it's like coming back to a family. Like hey guys, we've had 11 year long relationship, we know each other by now so. It was motherly and effortless.
Today you've just equalled the victories of Ireland. How do you feel about this?
It feels surreal, but now that that now that you're asking me the question, it feels wonderful, isn't it wonderful?
What are your next goals or projects?
Well, there's gonna be some more music. And there's going to be a tour, a European tour starting November. I'm not supposed to say this, they're going to kill me. But hey. Ohh God… And then we have to see what life has in store for me.
