Elimination interview with Jonbers Blonde

How was your time on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World?
Honestly I had such a great time filming, I take away so many fun memories. Of course devastation but really to be asked back by Ru is an honour and not a lot of people get that. I was so proud to represent Northern Ireland all over again. We need more N. Irish representation on TV now Derry girls is over ha.

What were your thoughts on the international queens when they were ru-vealed?
I knew from the start this would be tough, there is some big competition, it really proves Drag is an international sport.

Did you teach any of the international queens any Irish slang?
I don’t think they understood me speaking English, how many vowels can I fit into one sentence.

If you could do it all over again, is there anything you would do differently?
I try not to live with regrets or think about what would have done differently because I’m a HUGE believer in everything happens for a reason. To be asked back so soon after my season and getting to the finale was a risk but which many girls have never gotten if they do come back so I had the luck of the Irish there. I think I’d just be more caring of myself and also not listen to any rule given haha.

Who is your money on for the win?
I connected so much with Hannah and I just had the biggest laugh with her, I hear her cackle in my sleep still. I’m hoping we see her rise. Also LGD is just so mega, getting a compliment from her is like getting a knighthood ha.

What’s next for Jonbers Blonde?
More music is coming your way! My new release “Don’t know you anymore” is out now you can stream it alongside “In Fashion” my talent show song with mega producer KDA. I’m also going to be DJ supporting an iconic Real Housewife very soon. I love djing, so hopefully more tunes to be pumped out! I’d love to do more TV as I love acting like my I hate Suzie cameo with Billie Piper.
