Meet the Queens interview with Gothy Kendall
How did you do in your season?
I'm famous for being the first ever queen to be eliminated from Drag Race UK, and as Pork Chop was the first queen to be eliminated in the US, fans think of me as ” The Pork Chop of the UK”. I think it's quite an iconic title to hold as everyone remembers me, and, my “little roar” became a viral moment. People often roar at me in the street, so it’s worked for me. I’m now a very busy queen!
What have you been up to since we last saw you?
I've definitely had a glow up! I’ve had my teeth done, I’ve got nicer outfits and I’ve got bigger wigs. Now, I feel like I'm the fully realised version of Gothy. I've also released a lot of music since Drag Race, and, it's done pretty well. I don't want to say I'm the David Guetta of drag, but I am!
What challenges are you most looking forward to?
The challenge I'm most looking forward to is... all of them. I mean, I didn't get to do a single one. This Pork Chop is coming with a side of gravy and I'm ready to kill it.
What’s your strategy for the series?
In this version of Drag Race, it’s all about the strategic game play as the top queens lip sync for the chance to eliminate one of the bottom two - so no one is safe! I guess we've just got to be on the top all the time. I actually want them to think that I'm NOT a threat so I can be a silent but deadly player!
And if it comes to it, and we've got to play dirty, well the tiger is unleashed. See me roar!
